The aim of certification is to create documented evidence that ensures, with a high degree of reliability, that a specific process delivers consistent results that comply with predefined specifications and defined quality characteristics. The stages of certification are:
Design Qualification (DQ): documented confirmation of the design of equipment and facilities.
Installation assessment (IQ): documented verification of the correct installation of equipment and construction.
Operational Qualification (OQ): documented confirmation of the correct operation of the equipment within the specified operating range
Performance Qualification (PQ): documented verification that the system and equipment perform consistently according to specified requirements, under normal production conditions.
